Schools to Reopen from September or October

Date:

Schools closed for four months can be reopened in September-October. However, a final decision will be taken in mid-September only after assessing the condition of Corona in the country. Despite the loss of studies, this year will not be a ‘zero year’ and will be considered in session. Keeping in mind the suggestions and objections received from states and parents, the government is preparing its blueprint. It was decided in the meeting that the school be opened in a phased manner. Primary classes will run from home.

According to the official, half of the academic session 2020-21 has passed. The country is opening in Unlock-3, but educational institutions are closed, so parents’ opinion was sought through the states to open schools. States have different (September and October) opinions in this.

Parents are in favor of opening by October. He told that online classes are being run from TV, radio, mobile, laptop, computer, but it is not possible to study completely online. So the school should be reopened in September-October. The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs will jointly make the guidelines. The final decision to open the school will be left to the states.

At present, school opening will start with the students of board examination. Half of the students will be called in one shift and the other in the second shift. There will be a gap of two and a half hours between the two shifts, so that the school campus can be sanitized. Second shift will not work in first shift classes.

An interval of 15 to 24 hours will be required between re-classes in a classroom. Therefore the local administration will take full information from the schools. After board classes, gradually 9th and 11th class school will begin.

When the school reopens, the time limit will be three or four hours. Its purpose will be to study important subjects. One day one subject will be taught and then another subject. At least book must be brought to school. There will be no lunch break at school due to reduced time.

If the situation improves by Diwali, then students of sixth, seventh and eighth grade will also be called to school in shifts. However, as before, caution and rules will also be fixed here.
