Former Delhi government minister Satyendar Jain has been admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. According to sources in the Tihar Jail Administration, Satyendar Jain had collapsed in the bathroom inside his ward last night. Satyendra Jain had fallen due to slipping of his feet inside the bathroom.
Earlier on May 22 also, Delhi Police had taken former minister Satyendar Jain, who was lodged in Tihar Jail in the case of money laundering, to Safdarjung Hospital. He was brought to the hospital because of a problem in the spine.
Earlier on Saturday, on making a similar complaint, the jail administration had sent him to Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital, after coming from there, the former minister informed the jail administration about seeking opinion from another doctor regarding the disease. He was brought back to Tihar after taking opinion from the hospital.
Jail officials said that Satyendar Jain had complained of spinal pain on Saturday. His lawyer had also told in the court that Jain’s weight had decreased by 35 kg. After that, the jail administration sent him along with the police team to Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital on Saturday, where the doctors checked him up and gave some advice.
After that he returned to the jail. Jail sources say that Satyendar Jain had written a letter to the jail administration requesting to take opinion from other doctors regarding his illness. After that, the jail administration sent him to Safdarjung Hospital on Monday under the protection of the police team. The police team took him to the Neuro Surgery OPD. Where the doctors examined him. According to sources, during this Satyendra Jain took the opinion of doctors regarding his illness.
