China is not ready to move between Fangor 4 to 8 of Pangong Tso Lake, which is seeking to take over Indian land in eastern Ladakh. China may have withdrawn troops from some areas of Ladakh, but is engaged in large military preparations in the area of Aksai Chin, a short distance from LAC, for a prolonged confrontation. Recent images from the satellite reveal that China is modernizing its Saitula military base and deploying deadly weapons there.

Pictures of the satellite released by open source intelligence analyst Detresfa clearly show that China has started ‘fortifying’ this military base in the last two years. China is mobilizing training facilities for long-term stay of troops in Saitula and their rapid deployment in Ladakh. China has built new barracks and built a heliport. China has activated at least 8 airbases or helipads near the border with India from where it can continue its combat activities. Satellite pictures of Chinese fighter jets and AWACS planes stationed at Hotan Airbase in Xinjiang Province were recently revealed. It also provides information about the aircraft deployed at the concerned airbase.

Due to its high altitude, China is weaker than India in terms of air power in the region. While the Indian airbase is in the lower zone from where they can take action against China to their full potential. China has deployed Shenyang J11 fighter plane at its bases with a range of 3530 km. Which can fly at a maximum speed of 2500 km per hour. At present, China has more than 250 units of this plane. This plane is a license version of Russia’s SU27SK.
