In the Pulwama terror attack case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday arrested two more persons, one of whom had purchased chemicals online to make IEDs. Last year, on February 14, a suicide bomber rammed a car full of explosives into a CRPF convoy in Pulwama in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed.
NIA has arrested Wazir-ul-Islam (19) of Bagh-e-Mehtab area of Srinagar and Mohammad Abbas Rather (32) of Hakaripura village in Pulwama. With this, the number of persons arrested in this case has now increased to five. Earlier, a father-daughter and a close aide of the suicide bomber were arrested in two other operations.
