Congress General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh incharge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath demanding release of Dr. Kafeel Khan.
In her letter the Congress leader has written that Dr. Kafeel has worked for humanity under adverse situation and she is hopeful that the UP CM will work in order to provide justice to Dr. Kafeel Khan.
In her letter, she has also added few lines of Guru Gorakhnath, which expresses to help every individual without any distinction and speak sweet.
he has spent nine months in jail, been absolved of all charges, probed again for spreading “misinformation” and making “anti-government” political comments during the period of his suspension, booked again for “inciting hatred” through a speech at an anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act protest at Aligarh Muslim University, been arrested, then granted bail, and then slapped with the draconian National Security Act, 1980, under which he remains in jail.
