A non-bailable warrant has been issued against the well-known Bollywood actress turned BJP leader Jayaprada, who contested against SP leader Azam Khan. This warrant has been issued by the ADJ-6 court of Rampur.
This warrant has been issued against Jayaprada for a case of model code of conduct violation. The next hearing in the case will be on April 20. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, many cases of model code of conduct violations were filed on her. The court has issued this warrant in the case registered in Swar Kotwali.
According to Jayaprada’s lawyer Mustafa Hussain, he was not aware of the swarm case, as the police had not considered it a violation of the code of conduct in advance investigation. He said that he would present her side at the next hearing.
