No Food Due To Lockdown, Mother Throws 5 Children In Ganga

In a shocking and heart-breaking incidence, a mother throws her 5 children in river Ganga in Jeghangirabad of Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi district.
On receiving information about this incident, senior police officers arrived on the spot and engaged divers to search for the children. The woman has been arrested and police officials say she looks mentally unstable.

Meanwhile, police sources said that the woman had earlier said that she and her children were not getting food in lockdown, and the money inflow also stopped, as she was a daily wage labourer. Due to the applicable lockdown in the country, many people are facing all kinds of problems. However, the biggest problem is with daily wagers who are not able to buy food due to lack of money.
A police officer said, “Our priority is to find the children as soon as possible, other investigations can be done later.”
