On Thursday, PM Narendra Modi spoke to the Chief Ministers of different states through video conferencing about preparations to deal with the corona virus epidemic. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar demanded a large number of kits and other equipment from PM Modi for rescue from Corona.

According to the news channel NDTV, the main focus of this conversation through video conferencing was on kits and other devices to prevent virus infection. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, in this discussion with the PM, hoped that the country will overcome all challenges and will soon defeat the epidemic.

According to the NDTV report, Bihar CM told the PM, ‘We had asked for 5 lakh PPE kits but only got 4,000. 10 lakh N-95 masks were demanded, only 10,000 were found. There was a demand for 10 lakh PI masks, while only 1 lakh were made available. The state has been given only 250 in place of 10,000 RNA kits.

The Bihar CM told the PM that 100 ventilators were demanded, but so far the state has not received a single one. Apart from this, Nitish also sought to increase the fiscal deficit by 3-4%, just like the recession of 2009-10.
