A minor girl was strangled to death after being raped in the forest of Sohgibarawa Century in Maharajganj. Police have arrested an accused in this case. A girl (12-year-old) from the border village of Nautanwa police station area left the house on Friday evening. Did not return late at night. After finding the family, the Nautanwa police informed the incident. The police became active after the matter came to know. At 11 o’clock in the night, the police started questioning by detaining a boy from another village. During this time a case of murder came out after the rape. The dead body of the girl was recovered in the forest, one kilometer from the village, at the behest of the accused.
According to what has been revealed in the investigation so far, on Friday evening, a young man from another hamlet of the village took away the girl by bicycle and took him to Choumin at the village square. During this time many people saw him. After finding this information while searching for the girl, the police strictly interrogated the accused youth in custody.
