On one hand the country is slowly moving towards lockdown, on the other hand the World Health Organization (WHO) says that this step is not enough to tackle the challenge of the novel corona virus. The organization’s top emergency expert, Mike Ryan, said on Sunday that public health facilities would have to be ensured, if the virus is to be eliminated fully.

Lockdown’s own danger
He said in an interview, ‘We have to pay maximum attention to the search for sick people infected with the virus. Isolate them. Contact them and isolate them. ‘ He added, “There are some dangers of lockdowns right now … If we are not able to provide public health facilities now, then there will be a risk of the disease being lifted again if the restrictions are lifted, after the end of the lockdown.”
