Karnataka CM B. S. Yediyurappa flexes muscle against BJP leadership, the central leadership to decide on new CM.

Date:

B. S. Yediyurappa is still standing tall after backlash within Karnataka BJP & Central BJP leadership. The BJP state unit has been trying to replace BSY for a long, but they haven’t been successful yet. Last week BSY announced that he would be accepting BJP’s decision without any conditions, hinting that he will resign. There are rumors that BSY has demanded his son B. Y. Vijayendra be made Chief Minister or state BJP chief.

A thousand seers from the Lingayat community visited CM’s residence, sending a strong message to the BJP central leadership that Karnataka’s largest community support BSY.

The 78 years old recently visited Delhi and met senior leaders and the Prime Minister. It was termed as a farewell visit as CM to meet PM and other senior leaders. BSY is about to complete two-year terms as Chief Minister after poaching disgruntle MLA’s from Congress & JDS.

CT Ravi, a four-time MLA from the Chikmagalur constituency, is known for his hard-core Hindutva ideologue. He is a strong contender for the Chief Minister’s post. Recently he hit out against BSY on social media stating, How long the reign will last? It is bound to fall as the citizen of Karnataka are not satisfied with him.

There are a couple of names also doing round for the CM’s post. Prahlad Joshi the Union Minister for Mines and Parliamentary affairs. Responding to the rumors Union Minister said that “He hasn’t been informed about the changes and He is not authorized to speak about the situation”

In the recent statement, BSY said that he has full faith in PM, HM & BJP chief and said that he will receive the orders by Today evening.

BSY is a strong leader & it’s not easy to negotiate with him. The last time he was ousted from the party, he formed his political party called KJP – Karnataka Janta Party, which led BJP into a serious crisis. He is also known for Operation Kamala – where he is good at poaching MLA’s from opposition parties. Twice he formed the government by poaching MLAs.

It is except that the BJP central leadership will decide the fate by today evening.
