Internet Facility Suspended After Militant’s Encounter Started in Srinagar

Internet services have been suspended in Nawakdal area of ​​Srinagar following an encounter between militants and security forces late on Monday night. The encounter started when the police and CRPF started a joint operation in the area on Monday night.

In this densely populated area, which began around midnight, the search operation started when Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF surrounded some houses. After this, internet services were stopped in Srinagar city.

Regarding this encounter between security forces and militants in Nawakdal area of ​​Srinagar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, ‘Encounter has started in Kanemazar Nawakadal area of ​​Srinagar. JKP and CRPF are doing their work. Further information will be given.

Earlier on April 28, three militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Zanpora in Shopian district. On May 17, a soldier was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists at Doda in Jammu and Kashmir. A terrorist was also killed during the encounter.
