Haryana Government has ordered to freeze the dearness allowance and dearness relief for state government employees and pensioners at the current rate of 17 percent till July 2021. The reason for this has been quoted as COVID-19 situation.
Also, it has been pointed out that additional instalments of Dearness Allowances and Dearness Relief due from 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 shall also not be paid. It has also been clarified that no arrears for the period from 1st January, 2020 till 30th June shall be paid.
