Date:

In the IPL 2021 on Friday, Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 34 runs in the IPL match. Punjab scored 179 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. In response, RCB’s team could reach 145 runs for eight wickets. The hero of Punjab’s victory was Harpreet Brar, who batted at number seven, taking three wickets for 19 runs after making an unbeaten 25 off 17 balls with the help of a four and two sixes. He turned the match dice in seven balls.

Chasing the target, the RCB team scored 62 runs in 10 overs only after losing the wicket of Devadatta Padikkal (7). From here RCB needed 118 runs in the last 60 balls. Although the challenge was difficult, it was not impossible given the RCB batsmen and their form. In such a situation, Brar came for his third over, who had taken 17 runs in the last two overs. He bowled Virat Kohli (35) and Glenn Maxwell (0) on the first two balls of the 1st over. This over of Brar was the maiden wicket over. In his next over, Brar caught AB de Villiers (3) in the hands of Rahul and RCB scored four wickets for 69 runs. It was Brar’s final over and he conceded just two runs. In this way, he took three big wickets in his last two overs with just two runs.

Brar is quite happy with Virat Kohli’s wicket. After the match, he said, “When Kohli hit me, I didn’t panic because a bowler always gets another chance to come back.” My first IPL wicket was Kohli Paji’s wicket and it is very special. After this I came to the flow. I didn’t feel anything after hitting the six as a bowler always has a chance to make a comeback. So I knew I could come back. ‘
