Gundaraaj in UP : BJP Leader Beats Jhansi SP City

During the counting of MLC elections in Jhansi district of UP, some BJP leaders beat SP Vivek Tripathi of the district. It is being told that in view of the possibility of winning the SP candidate in the counting of MLC elections, some BJP leaders reached near the counting venue here. At the same time, there was a clash with the police team of these people, amid which BJP leader Pradeep Saraogi dragged the SP City present on the spot by holding a collar and also assaulted them.

It is being told that some local MLAs and activists of the BJP reached the counting venue after getting the information that a Samajwadi Party candidate had an edge. Meanwhile, SP City Vivek Tripathi and his teammates at the counting center’s gate prevented BJP leaders from entering. On the stop of SP City, the people of BJP started indecency with him. When the matter escalated, the police tried to remove these leaders from the counting center’s gate using mild force.

BJP people were enraged and local leader Pradeep Saraogi started fighting with SP City Vivek Tripathi. During this, the MLAs who were present along with the BJP workers stood as mute spectators. These BJP leaders beat SP City down. Later on reaching the spot of heavy force, the situation could somehow be controlled. In this case the police is now identifying those who committed indecency with the police officers. Apart from this, heavy security arrangements have been made at the counting site.

After this incident, the leaders of the opposition have questioned the law and order of the BJP government and the attitude of the party. Samajwadi Party spokesperson Udayveer Singh has said that the police were punished in the fraternity for not winning the BJP candidate in the MLC election. These people are shameless and do not care about anything.
