The innocent bomber

They gonna tell you son, you are the chosen one,
They gonna teach you hard, teach you how to fly,
You gonna love their little dreams, their olden ways,
But I tell you little kid, Judas was once a loved guy.
They gonna feed you well, when you’re naive and young
And shackle your mind, wait till your child is undone,
You gonna hate it first, but choose as you may,
You like it, then you love it, you know ur here to stay
They show you the stains, from their golden days,
A change, a better one, take forward your troubled race
You believe, and you smile, they smile on the sly
The boy who breeds hate, for the strangers across the aisle

And they smile,
For everyone like you, we go back a mile,
The bodies in a pile,
Everything you were told, is a beautiful lie

Some wear them white, some orange, some green
You think if you fall, ur true god will intervene
Propaganda is the truth, for it’s loud and it’s bold,
You believe you know it all when your barely seventeen.
You shout the slogan high, fist fight you gonna spin.
You’re the strongest created, they told you, you will win.
Kill for your masters’ words, you kill for your god,
Expressions exchanged, they agree with a little nod
They take their shields out, you load your gun in style
Let’s kill the enemy, the stranger across the aisle
Someone bought a piece of land, while your kins decline
We ll get the prime time, with your slogan or mine.

And they smile,
For everyone like you, we go back a mile,
Them bodies in a pile,
Everything you were told, is a beautiful lie

Now that you have won, your god, your flag, your gun,
You chose the road shown, should we talk about the run?
You sigh you are alive, get to see the other side,
Will you give yourself a chance, to believe it was a lie?
No food there to eat, their red water to drink,
what should be done now, after this much awaited win
The tears them roll down, it flashes ‘fore your eyes,
The heads that were rolled, their daughters and their cries.
It’s not what they told, true god you realise,
It is you, who needs change, love it or despise
Can you tell the next born, better than I could ever do,
Can you cover that distance, in the past could only few

Can they smile?
For everyone like you, they go back a mile,
Them bodies in a pile,
Everything you were told, is a beautiful lie
