An encounter between militants and security forces continues in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. According to news agency ANI, the encounter is taking place in Jadura area of Pulwama. Police and security forces have taken up the front.
Earlier, four terrorists, including District Commander Shakur Parre, of Albadar were killed in an encounter on Friday in Shopian district of southern Kashmir. He was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Nisar Ahmed, a Panch of Srinagar associated with the BJP. Two AK 47 rifles and three pistols have been recovered from them. IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that four terrorists, including Shakur and Suhail Bhat, were involved in the kidnapping and murder of Panch. A terrorist has also been arrested from the spot.
Police reported the presence of two to three militants in Killura area of Shopian district. On this, 44 Rashtriya Rifles of the Army, CRPF and police laid siege to the whole area and conducted a search operation. During this time the terrorists started firing when the circle was tight. The security forces exercised restraint first and asked them to surrender. Even after this, they did not listen and kept firing. The encounter started with retaliation.
The encounter, which lasted about three hours, succeeded in killing four terrorists. However, he has not been identified, but on the basis of the goods received from him, it is feared that his al-Badr may be. Police said the operation was carried out in a very professional manner. Due to this the security forces have not suffered any kind of damage.
