Eastern Ladakh Standoff : Third Round of Talk Today

There will be another round of Lieutenant General Level between the Indian and Chinese armies today. In this meeting, discussions will be held to reduce the tension in Eastern Ladakh and to finalize the modalities of reversing the forces from the sensitive region. Government sources gave this information. Sources said that this will be the third Lt. General level talks and it will be on Indian land on the Line of Actual Control in Chushul Sector. In the second round of talks on June 22, a “mutual agreement” was reached between the two sides to “retreat” to tense places in eastern Ladakh.
