Dissolution of New Zealand Parliament Deferred : PM Ardern

Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern said that the dissolution of parliament to make way for the general election has been deferred till Monday after the latest COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

The parliament was due to be dissolved this morning, as a first step towards holding the general elections in the country scheduled on September 19.

The PM further informed that no decision has been made on postponing the general elections.
