Delhi Congress Shines Under New Leadership

Amid the lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic, Delhi Congress is trying to provide nutritious food to the poor of Delhi and thus they have started the ‘Congress ki Rasoi’ to feed them. More than 100 Such Kitchens are active in the city at present. As the lockdown began, Delhi Congress has been serving food to more than 50,000 people on a daily basis.

Delhi Congress Chief Anil Chaudhary is the one leading food distribution to the poor people of the region. One such Congress kitchen is operational at his residence, since the lockdown started. Moreover, the young leader has turned the Delhi Congress headquarters into a community kitchen and a food bank has been set up at the head-office for people affected by the lockdown.

Apart from this, Delhi PCC is also distributing essential ration like grains, pulses to the poor while promoting social distancing in many areas. DPCC Vice President Abhishek Dutt is already popular among the Delhiites for the amount of effort, he is putting on daily basis in helping the people around.

Also, as per Delhi Congress In-charge & Indian National Congress Spokesperson Shaktisinh Gohil, a helpline number has been issued for people starving due to lockdown.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Delhi Congress chief Anil Kumar Chaudhary said that the party will launch a mega sanitisation programme in all the 272 municipal wards from Monday as he added that Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi and the BJP-ruled municipal corporations have woefully failed to carry out sanitation across Delhi despite Covid-19 cases going up daily.

Congress leader also mentioned that if Kejriwal government had done their job properly, Delhi would not have been in such an unsafe situation, as the lockdown seems to be heading for another extension in the national capital.
