A video of a councilor from Sheikhpura area of Bihar is getting viral on social media, with the councilor threatening to kill Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan with AK-47. A complaint has been lodged with the police and investigation into the case has started.
The case is of Sheikhpura Municipal Council of Bihar. In this video, a councilor Sanjay Yadav abused Paswan and his son Chirag Paswan. Yadav has accused Paswan of not providing ration cards to the poor and needy.
Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) district president Imam Ghazali on Wednesday lodged a complaint with Sheikhpura SP and demanded an inquiry against Yadav. Ghazali said that Yadav publicly threatened to shoot Paswan with an AK-47 in the video on Monday night.
Superintendent of Police Dayashankar said that Yadav has been absconding ever since the video went viral. He said that he had received a complaint and video clip of it. The police has started investigating the case. He said that action would be taken in the matter as per law.
