The American vaccine maker Pfizer Inc. and Biontech SE recently started a vaccine trial for children under 12 years of age. The company has claimed that the corona vaccine is 100 percent effective for children between 12 and 15 years old. Let me tell you that in America, Pfizer vaccine is being given to the youth of 16 years and above.
The companies expect the vaccination age to be extended by 2022. Currently over 45 years of age and frontline warriors are being vaccinated in India. Children are not being given vaccines.
Moderna Inc also launched one such trial last week. The child up to 6 months of age was also vaccinated. Currently only the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine is being used in 16- and 17-year-olds in the United States. The shot of Moderna is being given to people 18 years and older.
