Corona Crosses 236 Million Cases Worldwide with 8 Lakh Deaths

Date:

Worldwide, the number of people infected with corona has crossed 236.6 million. At the same time, the death toll from infection is 870,034. According to the university’s Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE), the US continues to top the list of affected countries with the highest number of cases in the world at 63,91,032 and 189,991 deaths due to infection.

Brazil has the second highest number of 40,01,422 infections. Meanwhile, the Corona vaccine is about to reach the public just two days before the presidential election to be held on November 3 in the US. President Trump has instructed US states to complete preparations for vaccination and distribution of corona virus to people from November 1. However, Trump’s claim is also linked to the presidential election. His critics say that this is a claim to woo people before the election.

According to the ‘Wall Street Journal’, the Trump government has urged state governors to remove the route for permits for distribution sites for use by pharmaceutical wholesaler’s subsidiaries. Significantly, on Monday, President Donald Trump announced that the trial of the Corona virus vaccine being developed by AstraZeneca has reached the third and final stage and is currently being finalized for approval.
