Opposition to the new agricultural law is continuing. Opposition parties are constantly saying that this law will harm farmers. Opposition parties are on the demand to withdraw all these laws. At the same time, Congress is considering convening a special session of the state assembly to neutralize these new agricultural laws. It was proposed by Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
The legal team of the All India Congress Committee drafted a law in this regard last week. A party source said that the Congress-ruled states will soon call a session of the Legislative Assembly to nullify the new agricultural laws at the Center.
The Chief Ministers of Congress ruled states, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry have already made it clear that they will not implement the new agricultural laws of the Center in their respective states.
They have also said that they will bring a new bill in their state assemblies to neutralize these laws.
