Congress’ Policies v/s BJP’s Headline Management

Date:

As citizens of India, it’s essential to stay informed about the political landscape and be wary of propaganda that can manipulate our understanding of important issues. One such issue is India’s per capita income, and the ruling party BJP’s headline management of it. In this blog, we’ll discuss why it’s crucial not to fall for BJP’s propaganda on India’s per capita income, and why Congress’s protective policies have proven more effective in increasing citizens’ income.

Firstly, it’s important to understand what per capita income is and how it’s calculated. Per capita income is the average income earned by an individual in a particular region or country, and it’s calculated by dividing the total income earned by the total population. It’s a critical measure of a country’s economic growth and progress, and the higher the per capita income, the better the standard of living of the citizens.

Now, let’s talk about BJP’s headline management of India’s per capita income. In recent years, the BJP government has been promoting the idea that India’s per capita income has been rising under their leadership, and that they’re responsible for the country’s economic growth. While it’s true that India’s per capita income has increased in recent years, it’s essential to understand that this growth has been primarily driven by external factors such as low oil prices and favorable global conditions.

Moreover, BJP’s propaganda on per capita income conveniently ignores the fact that their policies have not been very beneficial for the common citizens. In fact, many of their policies, such as demonetization and hasty implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), have had a detrimental effect on the economy and the people’s livelihoods.

On the other hand, Congress’s protective policies have proven more effective in increasing citizens’ income. For instance, Congress’s flagship programs like MGNREGA and the National Rural Health Mission have had a significant impact on the rural economy and have helped lift millions of people out of poverty. Congress has always prioritized policies that benefit the common citizens, and this is evident in their past governance record.

In conclusion, it’s crucial not to fall for BJP’s propaganda on India’s per capita income. While India’s per capita income has increased in recent years, it’s primarily driven by external factors, and the BJP government’s policies have not been very beneficial for the common citizens. On the other hand, Congress’s protective policies have proven more effective in increasing citizens’ income, and it’s essential to stay informed and make an informed decision based on facts and not propaganda.
