Hisar | 15 agrarian workers got injured in the accident in Kheri Chaupata village of Narnaund when a canter carrying agricultural laborers from Purnia in Bihar met an accident. The police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported and the injured were brought to the civil hospital in Hansi with the help of an ambulance. Out of them 5 injured were critical and have been shifted to Hisar hospital.
Muhammad Abbas, who was injured in the accident, told that a farmer was bringing a farmer from Kheri Chaupata village to Bihar for planting rice. All the workers had come to Delhi by train bus and were coming to Khedi Chowpat village after riding in the canter.
He said that he was repeatedly asking the canter driver to drive slowly, but the driver was driving the canter at a high speed. ASI Ramesh Kumar, who reached the spot, said that an accident took place near the Khedi Chowpat police outpost and the injured were brought to the hospital for treatment. He told that the canter was overturned in the fields along the road and no other vehicle was there.
