Breaking All Lockdown Rules, Ranchi Locals Gather To Prevent Burial of Muslim Patient

Date:

Forgetting all the risks associated with large crowds, locals in Ranchi gather in huge numbers to protest against the burial of a man, who had died of coronavirus infection, in the Ratu Road Kabristan.

The deceased was a resident of Hindpiri and died in RIMS due to coronavirus infection. The police and the local administration only came to look into the arrangements when a large crowd gathered in front of the graveyard to prevent the authorities from entering.

While the police tried to reason with the crowd that a buried dead man cannot spread corona virus infection, but their words fell on deaf ears.
Meanwhile, more and more people started gathering and they blocked a portion of Ratu Road near the graveyard.

Fearing real risk of infection spreading from such a large crowd gathering, the police had to finally back-off as they agreed not to bury the body in that graveyard.
The crowd finally dispersed when authorities sealed all the entry points of the graveyard.
