Brazil’s corona count has surpassed 8,67,000 on Sunday with death toll rising to 43,000 in the Latin American country, as per the data of country’s health ministry.
On Sunday, 17,110 new cases and 612 new fatalities were confirmed while on Saturday, Brazil recorded 21,704 new cases and 892 deaths.
With about 5 percent mortality rate, about 3,88,500 patients have recovered from corona in Brazil, as per the health ministry.
Brazil has second highest death counts in the world, second only to USA, which has surpassed 115,600 cases. Brazil and USA are also the top two countries with highest registered corona cases in the world.
