Mewalal Chaudhary, who took oath in the Nitish government, resigned from the post of minister on Thursday after all-round clashes over corruption. After the resignation of Mevalal, Ashok Chaudhary has now been given additional charge of the Education Department.
Mevalal also responded to the allegations leveled against him. He said that any case is proved when a charge sheet has been filed against you or the court has given some decision.
Let us remind you that the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal had become an attacker since Mevalal was sworn in as minister. RJD is seeking a probe into Mewalaal over allegations of corruption and alleged involvement in the suspected death of his wife.
In 2017, Mevalal Chaudhary is accused of corruption in the appointment of the college while being Vice Chancellor of Sabour Agricultural University in Bhagalpur. He is alleged to have wrongly reinstated 161 Assistant Professors while Vice Chancellor. An FIR is also lodged against him in this matter.
