The granddaughter of the late social worker Baba Amte and a senior social worker Dr. Sheetal Amte committed suicide on Monday. Sheetal committed suicide at his residence in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.
The cause of suicide has not been known yet, but some people say that on the family issue, Sheetal Amte has committed suicide. The police reached the spot has started investigation.
Doctors declared Shitala Amte dead when she was taken for treatment at Upjila Hospital in Warora. Sheetal has died using poisonous injections. Dr. Sheetal Amte was selected as ‘Young Global Leader 2016’ by the World Economic Forum in January 2016.
