Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan remembered his mother’s last moments on her 15th death anniversary. He remembered when he was trying his best to save his mother and the doctor stopped him. It has been 15 years since the death of Amitabh Bachchan’s mother Teji Bachchan on December 21. In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote about the last moments of his mother and told how the whole family was trying to save her.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote in memory of his Amma Di, “There is no picture of her today in her memory, which can describe her beauty.” Describing his Ammaji as the most beautiful woman, he wrote, “We all stood holding hands of our loved ones. The nieces and children had tears in their eyes.
He further wrote, “The hall of Pratiksha (Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow) was cleaned. His picture, his beautiful face, bordered by some white flowers. His nieces came and next to him the word Granth Sahib was recited for the whole night. After her funeral, her ashes were taken to the holy places she believed in and prayed to.
