Amarnath Yatra Cancelled, Arrangements for Live Darshan to be Made

Amarnath Yatra Cancelled, Arrangements to be Made for Online Darshan

Amarnath Yatra will not happen this time also. Due to Corona virus, the Lieutenant Governor’s government has decided to cancel the Yatra. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that taking care of the health of the people is a priority. Like last year, there will be only traditional worship with the stick yatra. Aarti of Baba Barfani will be telecast from the holy cave. In view of the corona infection, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has decided not to conduct the Yatra. However, all the traditional pujas will continue as earlier. This year, the Shrine Board had decided to start the Amarnath Yatra from June 28. On the first day, the Lieutenant Governor and others will offer prayers to Baba Barfani.

The board administration has tied up for live telecast of morning and evening aarti at Baba’s rate. Aarti will be telecast regularly from the holy cave. Devotees of Baba Bhole will be able to watch live broadcast of Aarti like Maa Vaishno from across the country.
