Corona has had a bad impact on Baddi’s pharma industry in Himachal Pradesh. According to the news agency ANI, the general secretary of Himachal Drugs Manufacturing Association, Munish Thakur says that the pharma industry has been badly affected due to Corona.
Thakur said that the raw material for the pharma industry is imported from countries like China. Now, as China is also severely affected by the virus, the supply of raw materials has been disrupted. Due to this, the prices of medicines have increased.
Not only this, the supply of raw materials on the domestic front has also come down by 50 percent because trucks were not allowed on roads due to the lockdown.
