5000 New Cases in Delhi, But No New Containment Zone

Officials of the Union Health Ministry believe that no state can consider itself green or corona-free due to low data and non-construction of the Containment Zone, whereas the truth is that in the last 15 days more than five thousand infected patients have been found in Delhi. And not a new Containment Zone has been created. However, when contacted, Delhi Health Department Secretary Padmini Singla and Director General Dr. Nutan Mundeja did not respond.

The first patient in Delhi was exposed on March 2, since then, till April 30, the number of containment zones has also crossed 100 after getting 3515 infected patients, but till Friday the number of containment zones in Delhi has come down from 100 to 78. . Between 1 and 15 May, 22 Containment Zones in Delhi have been declared corona free.

A senior official of the Union Health Ministry said that when the work started on the planning of the Containment Zone, it was seen to be ineffective in Delhi, whereas Delhi is a smaller state than the rest of the states.

In such a situation when the situation did not come under control even in the two lockdowns, Dr. Sujit Kumar Singh, Director of National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) had a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and suggested to work on the new Containment Scheme, the basis of which But it has been decided that micro containment zones will now be created in Delhi regarding the corona virus, so that it can be monitored in time and patients can be identified. The following are currently many micro containment zone in Delhi, is not aware of it.
