In a 263-page document obtained by the US State Department, the Chinese military scientists were found to be discussing about weaponizing the SARS coronavirus. As per the document, in 2015 the Chinese Communist Party scientists in collaboration with a US-funded NGO were researching about ‘gain of function’ to make bat coronaviruses infect humans more easily.
It suggested that SARS coronaviruses could be used as ‘genetic weapons’ that can be artificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus, and collapse the healthcare system of an enemy country. The Chinese military discussed with an effective virus how the hospitals will be flooded with patients and the economy will come to a grinding halt, causing unprecedented losses to the enemy country.
The devastating effect of the new variant of the coronavirus is already being felt in India with the whole healthcare system crumbling down.
The chairmen of the British and Australian foreign affairs and intelligence committees, Tom Tugendhat and James Paterson, say the document raises major concerns about China’s lack of transparency over the origins of COVID-19.
“We were able to verify its authenticity as a document authored by the particular PLA researchers and scientists,” according to Robert Potter, a digital forensics specialist who has worked for the US, Australian and Canadian governments – and has previously analyzed leaked Chinese government documents, according to the report. “We were able to locate its genesis on the Chinese internet.”
The document also stated that Chinese scientists believed that the 2003 SARS epidemic was an attack by bio-weapons by an enemy country and that they too needed to quickly act in this field and get ready for a bio-warfare.
Despite WHO accepting that the COVID-19 virus emerged from a wild animals market in Wuhan, this new document will only give more fuel to conspiracy theories about China starting a bio-war to gain an upper hand in this battle of supremacy with the West. The fact that a Chinese lab is located just metres away from that market in Wuhan which researches on such coronaviruses only raises more suspicion.
