What’s it about Rahul Gandhi that every average common Indian, identifies with?
He’s humane. He’s down to earth and full of empathy for each n every one around him.
What’s dynastic about him? Nothing, nothing at all. It’s a mere misconception created and spread across, about him, with huge financial allocation for this job with a vicious hidden political agenda behind it.
Little did Modi, Shah or anyone in BJP know that the most underestimated Bharat Jodo Yatra taken up by RaGa will totally transform Rahul Gandhi & that he will rise like a Phoenix out of it.
Rahul Gandhi actually not only learnt about the real India through the length and breadth of touring India but what also happened was that Rahul Gandhi not only fell in love with India but also with the idea of India. He now knows the pulse of India, its issues, advantages & challenges.
This most unexpected tryst with destiny changed the fate of India. India found in this son of its soil an ardent worshipper of humanity, someone like Mahatma Gandhi. That emotion and that reckoning force in him is something which no one can now stop, not even Rahul Gandhi himself. There inside his blood runs the DNA of three ex-Prime Ministers all of whose virtues, seem to have gotten amplified in Rahul Gandhi himself.
Now the world sees in him a Visionary, a Fearless Statesman, a leader who believes in creating more leaders, a leader who strives hard to reclaim India from the clutches of an autocratic BJP who imagines a fanciful Congress-free India.
How on earth could BJP have ever imagined a Pappu that they created would turn into a modern India, Mahatma Gandhi whose image and following is only growing with each passing day, into something so huge that they can’t seem to look into it like one can’t look into a sun.
The speech that Rahul Gandhi gave in Srinagar, after an unfathomable 4500kms padayatra, where and when his Yatra concluded is something that each and every human being must listen to once in their lifetime. If it doesn’t move the listener then there’s something wrong with that living being. The empathy with which Rahul Gandhi spoke about terrorism and its impact on its victims & their families is only a minor glimpse into what he has gone through, through the painful & tragic death of his father and grandmother, both of whom he loved most dearly, on seeing their bodies being blown into pieces.
If after going through all of that, he can be as kind, compassionate, forgiving and as empathetic towards pain, loss and tragedy then there’s something extremely austere, pious and pristine about this man. Whatever, they may be, is most certainly the rarest of rare virtues.
That speech there, where he stands in brazen, biting snowfall without an umbrella or protection, when he spoke impromptu and how he spoke, is something to see and believe. The poise, softness and sincerity with which he spoke is a stoic proof of his greatness and austerity. A man who has come into his own groove. A man who discovered himself. A man who today is a personification of a New Age Young Indian. Rahul Gandhi- A MAN WHOSE TIME HAS COME.
