41% Rise in Serious Cases of Corona in Delhi in Past 10 Days

In Delhi, the number of critically ill patients suffering from corona has increased rapidly. In the last 10 days, 41 percent serious patients suffering from Corona have increased in Delhi. According to an official of the Delhi Health Department, from September 6 to September 16, the number of patients undergoing ICU and ventilator treatment in hospitals has increased by more than 400.

On September 6, 1148 serious coronary patients were admitted in Delhi hospitals. Of these, 560 were treated on ventilator beds and 588 in ICUs. 10 days later, on September 16, the number of such patients suffering from corona increased by 473. They were undergoing treatment in ventilators and ICUs. Till 16 September evening, 1621 such serious patients were admitted in different hospitals. Of these, 869 were undergoing treatment in ICUs and 752 on ventilators.

In Delhi, the number of patients admitted to hospitals has increased by 32% in the last 10 days. As of September 6, 5101 corona-affected patients were in hospitals 10 days ago, their number increased to 1658 from 6759 in 10 days. Out of the total 14,570 corona beds available in Delhi hospitals, 6759 beds are admitted patients.
