21 People Died in Punjab by Drinking Poisonous Liquor

In Punjab, Amritsar and Tarn Taran, the death toll on Friday by drinking poisonous liquor reached 21. There have been reports of people being killed by drinking poisonous liquor at various places in Punjab. At the same time, there has been a stir in the police department and administration since people were killed. The Chief Minister of Punjab has also given this information through social media. He has issued orders to investigate the matter.

Seven people died on Friday in Tarn Taran district alone. Earlier on Saturday, three people died and one person lost his eyesight. Three people were killed and one person lost his eyesight due to drinking alcohol in the district village Ratoul. The victims’ families also cremated the bodies without informing the police. Now they have complained to the police and demanded action against drug smugglers.

Tarantaran DSP Sucha Singh Ball said that no person from the village Ratoul informed the police about the incident. Now a complaint has been received. Action will definitely be taken. A case has been registered against seven people who have done illegal liquor business in a month.

DC Kulwant Singh Dhuri said that the matter has come to his attention. SDM Rajneesh Arora is being charged for investigation. He has been ordered to record the statements of villagers and report.
