Minhaj Ahmed and Masruddin, two suspects of the Al Qaeda backed terrorist organization arrested from Lucknow, were produced before the ADJ Court in Lucknow. Where ATS demanded remand. The court has sent both the suspects to 14-day remand.
In the Kakori police station area of the capital Lucknow, both were arrested by the ATS in a search operation. According to the information, pressure cooker bombs and explosive items were also found from them. The suspected terrorists were planning to carry out some incident. The information about the terrorist has created a stir in the area. Nearby houses were also evacuated.
Both the suspects were produced in the ADJ 3 Court in Lucknow on Monday afternoon. After getting the remand, the ATS will have the convenience and if it wants, it can also take the accused out of Lucknow and interrogate them. Earlier, Additional Home Secretary Avnish Awasthi said that the phone chat of both the suspects revealed that they were in cross border contact.
ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar had told that after getting the information, it was studied and the module was demolished. The intentions of the arrested suspects were not correct. The potential of the kind of things found is so much that if there was a blast at some important place, many lives could have been lost. In that respect, the police has got a big success.
It is being told that the ATS has recovered maps of many cities of UP with the terrorists. In this, maps around the Ram temple of Ayodhya have also been recovered. It is feared that there were many big cities of UP including Ayodhya on the target of terrorists. It has also been revealed in the interrogation that the terrorists were trying to attack as human bombs.
