1100 Bihar Migrant Workers To Arrive Today From Rajasthan

During the lockdown, people of Bihar are stranded in non-province. Meanwhile, to give relief to the people of Bihar, the special train from Jaipur to Patna left at 10 pm on Friday (May 1). It carries about 11 hundred people. Food and water will be provided to passengers aboard the train after arriving at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (PDDU) junction at 9:10 am on Saturday (May 2). Railway administration has started preparing for this.

The country was put on lockdown when the corona infection increased. During this time thousands of people of Bihar are trapped in many provinces including Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the Railway Administration is running special trains to provide relief to the people of Bihar trapped in Rajasthan. In this sequence, the special train left for Patna with about 11 hundred passengers from Jaipur at ten o’clock on Friday night.

The railway administration will make arrangements for food and water for all passengers as soon as the special train arrives at PDDU junction at 9:10 am on Saturday. After this, the train will leave for Patna.

Other passengers will not board the special train

No passenger will board the special train carrying people of Bihar. After departure from Jaipur, there is a halt at Patna station after Bandikui, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur, DDU. During this time there will be no boarding or disembarking of the train at any station. However, loco pilots and guards will be changed at PDDU junction. During this time, apart from departmental officers and employees, the soldiers of GRP, RPF will be ready. Food has been arranged for all the passengers boarding the Kot special train.

Rupesh Kumar, Senior DCM, PDDU Rail Division told that special train will leave from Jaipur and arrive at PDDU Junction at 9:10 am. Preparations for this have almost been completed.
