Weekend Lockdown Imposed in 9 Districts of Haryana

In view of the increasing cases of corona, weekend lockdown has been imposed in nine districts of Haryana. It will come into force with immediate effect. The Weekend lockdown will be from Friday night to May 3 at five in the morning. The districts where lockdown has been imposed include Panchkula, Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar, Sonipat, Rohtak, Karnal, Sirsa and Fatehabad. It is in these districts that the highest number of cases of corona infection are coming.

In Haryana, the number of corona infections is increasing steadily. Especially in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, adjoining Delhi, the situation is beginning to become uncontrollable. Beds are not available in hospitals. The government has taken this precautionary step to control the corona. Last day, a record 13 thousand 947 were found infected in the state, while 97 patients died.

The graph of the dead has been 4118 in Riyana. The condition of a total of 1267 patients is alarming, of which 1076 patients are on oxygen and 209 on ventilators. Due to the increasing number of patients, the recovery rate has dropped to 79.48 percent and the positive rate has increased to 6.48 percent. The death rate is 0.87 percent.
