Twitter Starts Removing Blue Tick of Verified Handles

Twitter has removed the blue ticks of Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, veteran batsman Virat Kohli and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Twitter made major changes on its platform on Friday (April 21) morning. Among those who lost their blue ticks are batting great Sachin Tendulkar and one of the best football players in the world, Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo has 108.3 million followers on Twitter, Virat Kohli 55.1 million, Sachin 38.6 million, Rohit Sharma 21.7 million and Mahendra Singh Dhoni 8.5 million. Pakistan captain Babar Azam is also among those who lost the Twitter blue tick. Babar is followed by 4.6 million people on this platform.
