Soldier Along with Mother and Sister Killed in UP’s Banda

A soldier along with his mother and sister were murdered late Friday in a minor dispute of throwing garbage in Banda, UP. The triple murder case created a stir in the district. On information, other officers including IG, SP rushed to the scene. The police have taken quick action and arrested four members of the accused family.

Police station Naini Abhijit Verma Chandroli posted at Prayagraj lived in Parashuram Talab area with mother Ramavati and sister Nisha Verma. Another brother in his family, Saurabh Verma, has also been selected in the police and is training. Abhijeet’s friend Dileep said that at around 11 pm, Abhijeet got a call that there was a quarrel with Tauja’s son Devraj and his family living next door.

Dilip’s house is 300 meters from Abhijeet’s house. On reaching her, he reached there. Dilip told that five six people, including Devraj, his brother Shivpujan, Bablu and a woman from the house, surrounded Abhijeet’s house. All were equipped with sticks, poles, axes and guns. The accused also fired several rounds of aerial firing. After that Abhijeet and his family came out. As soon as he came out, the accused attacked him.

When Dilip tried to save them, he was also beaten up. He suffered severe injuries to his head, arms and legs. The accused then killed Abhijeet and his family with sticks and axes. On getting the information, the city Kotwal arrived with Dinesh Singh Force and lifted the dead bodies and sent them to the district hospital. In the night, the police arrested Devraj, along with his brother Shivpujan, Bablu and sister. All are being questioned.
