Mumbai metropolis is suffering from rains today after the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of heavy rainfall in Mumbai and its suburbs on Tuesday. The department has advised fishermen not to venture into the high seas on the east coast due to the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. Mumbai and the surrounding areas started raining on Monday morning as the monsoon became active over the Arabian Sea.
