Rahul Gandhi Requests to Provide Food to Hungry

The 21-day lockdown caused by Corona Virus has created a crisis of living and food, in front of daily wage workers. Due to this, the workers are returning home with their families from Delhi and other states. In such a situation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has tweeted that hundreds of our brothers and sisters, and their food-deprived families, have to walk towards their villages. He also urged public to give them food, water, shelter on their way, wherever it’s possible. He has made a special appeal to Congress workers and leaders for extending help to such people. Jai Hind!

More than 800 cases of corona have been reported across the country and 19 corona positive patients have died.

The Home Secretary has written a letter to all the states asking them to make arrangements for food and drink for migrant laborers, laborers working in industries and workers in the unorganized sector. To prevent the spread of Corona virus infection, the Union Home Ministry on Friday told the state governments that during the enforced nationwide lockdown, they will be exposing large scale migrant farm laborers, workers engaged in industries and unorganized sector workers from their workplace to their homes. But this migration must be stopped in any case.
