New Delhi| People living in 72 houses in South Delhi’s one locality have been asked to self-quarantine themselves after a pizza chain’s delivery boy was tested positive for corona virus.
According to DM B.M. Mishra, after a delivery boy of pizza chain, being identified for COVID-19 positive, his 16 colleagues were quarantined immediately, whereas a detailed followup was taken for the houses where he has done delivery. After finding 72 houses, the said families were asked to quarantine themselves and take precautionary measures.
While sources said that there is no need to panic, as the pizza outlet was taking measures of all the safety precautions during delivery, but the decision to quarantine was taken as a precautionary measure.
The delivery boy is undergoing treatment and the quarantined people are being monitored on a daily basis.
