In a major setback to the Bharatiya Janta Party, just before the polls, the Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) has parted its way from NDA in Kerala, and announced to form a new party which will join the United Democratic Front (UDF).
The new faction has announced a new political party, the Bharatiya Jana Sena (BJS), under the leadership of MK Nilakandan Master, ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections. BJS executive chairman V Gopakumar alleged that the BJP is using the BDJS as a political “tool”.
Gopkumar said, “We cannot hold in the NDA even for a minute as we are unhappy with this conspiracy. The BJS will work with full confidence in the UDF. Around 12 community organizations have announced our support. BDJS BJP There is nothing but a tool for. They cannot live in an organization that has become politically irrelevant in the state. As a result of this the new party is formed.
Gopikumar further alleged that “BJP is cheating Hindu devotees to come back to power again to build ties with CPIM”. We are confident that the UDF will bring an ordinance on the Sabarimala issue when it comes to power. ”He said that MK Nilakandan Master BJS would be the new party president.
