Is MP Govt Fudging Covid Death Data?

Date:

The daily figures in the second wave of Corona are even more frightening, while the number of deaths is also frightening. In such a situation, the government has been accused of repeatedly releasing false figures. Talking about Madhya Pradesh, according to the officials of two crematoriums and one cemetery in Bhopal, 84 bodies were cremated in Bhopal with the Kovid-19 protocol on Tuesday. On the other hand, the Health Department has reported only five corona deaths in the city and only 40 in the entire Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, the state government is facing allegations of hiding the situation.

However, state Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary has denied the allegations that the state government is underplaying the death toll. He said, “We came to know about the cremation of a large number of dead bodies and we are looking into the matter.” But we are not hiding anything about deaths. “

Madhya Pradesh had an average of 6,477 cases and 32 deaths in the week ended on Wednesday. So far, 363,352 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported and 4,312 deaths have been reported in the state. A total of 47 bodies were cremated with the Kovid-19 protocol at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat on Tuesday, 28 bodies in Subhash Nagar, and nine bodies buried in the Jahangirabad cemetery.
