IPL 2020 : 53 Day Tournament, Final on 10 Nov

The important meeting of the Governing Council for IPL 2020, which took place in the UAE this year, ended on Sunday in UAE. This time due to Corona epidemic, many news is coming about the league going to be out of the country. The schedule has not been decided yet. Sources say that there is yet to be a round of meeting between the board and the broadcasters.

Key Highlights of IPL 2020
  • The 13th edition will be played from 19 September to 10 November
  • This will be the first time the final will not be played on weekend.
  • All matches will be played in three cities of UAE in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai.
  • The tournament will last for 53 days, not 51 in the Corona era, this time there will be 10 double header (two matches in one day).
  • Franchise teams will get as much Covid Replacement as they want
  • No decision has been taken on Chinese sponsors, ie they are not in danger.
  • Franchisee will leave for UAE on charter aircraft on 27 August
