India’s first internet car launched

MG (Morris Garages) Motor India today launched Hector for an introductory price of ₹ 12.18 lakhs (ex-showroom India). The introduction of the premium SUV follows its unveil in India in the country on May 15. The new MG Hector will be up against Mahindra XUV 500, Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass. Hyundai Creta and the soon-to-be-launched Kia Seltos will be its other major rivals.

The car has iSMART technology with 50 other features. There will be 10.4 inch HD touchscreen AVN system, 7-inch coloured MID, 4-way powered adjustable co-driver seat, powered tailgate opening, dual panoramic sunroof and eight colours ambient lighting.

Customers will get to choose from five paint schemes in MG Hector. These colour options are Starry Black, Coloured Glaze Red, Burgundy Red, Aurora Silver and Candy White.
